Before you say anything… no, the setup above is not a mistake. Sun Mag has the distinction of being the very first bag we’re featuring that contains only four clubs. And, yes, there is a reason the 4th slot is blank. Sunstorm boosts the club that is furthest away from it which, in this case, is Magnesis and gives it a +6 in all stats. The blank slot allows Meteor to (technically) be directly next to Magnesis, giving it double magnetism.

This setup will work for all par 3 holes, but be careful with the amount of spin you use, especially on the island greens. Medium spin will give the ball 5-10 feet of backspin. Maximum spin will give you 30+ feet and could put your ball in the water if you miss the cup. You may as well go with Atlantis in the 1 slot since several par 3 holes are around water and this will boost Magnesis’ stats even more.

According to Smiling Sue of Furious Fighters, with all clubs in this bag maxed, Magnesis picks up a bigger boost from Sunstorm when Meteor is in the 4th slot.
