This setup is designed to take advantage of elite Meteor’s ability to wrap its boost from one end of the lineup to the other. In that #5 slot, Meteor is double boosting Sunstorm, which is giving a huge stat boost to Magnesis because it boosts the furthest club away from it. Elite Meteor is also double boosting Magnesis’s magnetism radius in the #1 slot because it can wrap to the opposite end of the club lineup. Galvanizer is providing an additional accuracy boost to Magnesis to its left and Conspiracy is doing what it can to provide the minimal amound of wind reduction because nothing else here is boosting it.

This setup is significantly more accurate (with a slower meter) for par 3 holes than the typical setups were back in the old days. It’s also got a bigger range to reach slightly longer holes. However, using a Laser ball, Fireball, or even a Gem ball to some extent turns Magnesis into a long distance threat now. It should very easily reach every par 4 hole and many par 5 holes. It should be noted that this bag is pretty deadly with an Earth ball on par 3’s.

This exact setup will work without an elite Meteor, however your magnetism radius will not be doubled. You will still have the longer range, but the magnetism range is so small that the ball practically needs to be in the cup anyway for it to get sucked in.
