Outset is a really solid driver in the early game and even the late game if you like to play in a more “real golf” kind of way. For the boosts we’re getting here, let’s start at the beginning. Ranger and Outset are both Forester brand clubs and because of that Ranger is giving Outset a power boost. Outset has a chain bonus for wedges, so if you use your Sandblast wedge immediately after your drive, you’ll get a big bonus to your Sandblast stats, which should make for an easier chip in. Our old pal Commonlaw is there to provide the usual accuracy boost on the whole bag. And, lastly, Sandblast also gets a big stat boost when you hit from the bunker, so aiming for the sand with this setup wouldn’t be the worst thing you could do.
Is Sandblast the best wedge for this bag? Maybe, maybe not. You could also replace it with Maelstrom for some bounce reduction. Or, maybe better yet, put Steadfast in the #5 slot. It gives a nice stat boost to all Common and Rare clubs in your bag. In this case, that would be Ranger, Outset and Jumpstart. That would translate to a longer, more accurate drive with Outset.
To see the special abilities of your clubs and how they can work together in a bag, simply go into your club inventory and click on a club to flip it over to see all the details. If you click on the text of one of those special abilities, another info bubble will pop up to provide even more information.
