With the recent addition of Gearshift and a stat/ability tweak to Cyclotron not too long ago, it seemed like it was good time to revisit Blacksmith’s usefulness as a top-contending par 3 option.

In this setup we’re maximizing the bounce reduction with Gearshift in the #1 slot and a doubled Cyclotron just to the right of Blacksmith. We’re also doubling Conspiracy’s wind reduction, which pretty much maximizes this bag’s efficiency in counteracting two of the game’s most problematic physics.

You’re gonna get a little bit of a hop when the ball hits the green, but not much. Cyclotron is also giving a very big boost to Blacksmith’s spin stat, so you’ll probably want to go with 50% spin on your drives, if any at all. Max spin here will be way too much in almost all par 3 scenarios.
